Describe an example of your creativity?

It became apparent that many members of the SABRE Help Desk were unaware of how (a)Local Area Networks (LANs), (b)Wide Area Networks (WANs), (c) the Internet. (d) Communications, and (e) Computer components are interconnected. Since SABRE is extensively involved in all of these areas and always expanding its use and participation in the Internet, I concluded that an overview of the components involved needed to be created in an understandable and cost efficient format.

To accomplish the goal, I evaluated the information and tools available. I chose PowerPoint for Windows to create the presentation. This decision was based on the needs of the project and for personal goals to improve my understanding and use of PowerPoint. I created an outline, scanned documents (schematics, charts) using Micrografx Picture Publisher, created graphics in Micrografx Designer and Corel Draw and inserted all graphics and text into PowerPoint.

I then utilized the features of PowerPoint to create a self running program.

By using my creativity I was able to educate more individuals on LANs, WANs, etc., and simultaneously learn new methods of providing information in an interesting and visually stimulating environment.
